Branch No. 2 is a library for children, teenagers and adults

• Consists of separate sections for children and adults, where large collections of literature and popular science materials for different age groups are gathered.   
• Branch No. 2 is equipped with computer stations providing free Internet access for its users.
• The library cooperates with  schools and kindergartens, organizing activities for children who remain in the city during vacations and school holidays.  
• Operates Library Point at Zaklad Doskonalenia Zawodowego /Professional Development Centre/.
• The library has been fully computerized, providing such online services as book ordering, and return date extending. It allows its users to check the their library account online.

How to join the library?:

When joining the library you must :

1. Show your identity card or valid school ID in case of children and under age youth. Foreigners show passport, and permanent or temporary stay card.
2. Read the library regulations.
3. Fill out the sign up form, and pledge with signature to follow the  Regulations. Pledges of under age youth are to be signed by parents or legal guardians after an identity check.
4. Accept a free, plastic Reader Card, in case of primary school children attending grade III or lower, acceptance of the Card has to be confirmed by a parent or legal guardian.

Fulfilment of the above conditions is necessary to be able to use the Library.

Collections:

• literature for children and teenagers,
• Polish and foreign fiction for adults,
• popular science publications,
• magazines.

Services:

• offering collections on-site and collections lending,
• providing  information,
• providing access to the Internet and MS office package.

Cultural and educational activities of the library:

• educational activities for the youngest,
• art competitions combined with art exhibitions,
• literature contests,
• lessons at the library,
• activities for children during winter and summer vacations.
