• The library is one of the larger public libraries in Rzeszow, located on a spacious Rzeszow's housing estate Nowe Miasto. 
• The library offers extensive literature and popular science book collections for children, teenagers and adults.     
• The branch operates a Library Point at the Retirement Home.
• The library is fully computerized, providing such online services as book ordering, and return date extending. It allows its users to check their library account online.
• The branch is equipped with computer stations providing free Internet access for its users.
• The library conducts wide range of activities promoting books and the library among children, teenagers and adults, it offers its readers many varied forms of working with books. 
• Branch No.6 successfully cooperates with many institutions: kindergartens, schools, house of culture, and estate council, bringing the local community together around the library.

How to join the library?:

When joining the library you must :

1. Show your identity card or valid school ID in case of children and under age youth. Foreigners show passport, and permanent or temporary stay card.
2. Read the library regulations.
3. Fill out the sign up form and pledge with signature to follow the Regulations. Pledges of under age youth are to be signed by parents or legal guardians after an identity check.
4. Accept a free, plastic Reader Card, in case of primary school children attending grade III or lower, acceptance of the Card has to be confirmed by a parent or legal guardian.  
   
   Fulfilment of the above conditions is necessary to be able to use the library.

• literature for adults,
• extensive offer of popular science publications,
• lexicons, dictionaries, encyclopedias,
• periodicals,
• films,
• audio books /talking books/.

Services:

• offering collections on-site and collections lending,
• providing information,
• electronic services: online book ordering and return date extending, library account administration,
• providing access to the Internet and MS Office package.

Cultural and educational activities of the library:

• meetings with authors,
• literary and art competitions,
• reading campaigns, such as: „Pierwsze kroki w Krainie Bajki”,
• lessons at the library,
• ctivities with books for kindergarten children,
• reading tournaments,
• exhibitions of local artists paintings.
