The Reference Desk is a library branch that specializes in providing of information about libraries' collections and the principles governing collections sharing.
 

• The Reference Desk employees provide information directly at the library as well as by telephone and mail.
• Information is dispensed through and based on information tools like: catalogues, library files, reference library and data bases.
• Offers extensive reference library, which is available for on-site only.
• Draws up bibliographic lists and information materials concerning the Library.

Reference Library:

• general information publications and publications from various fields of knowledge,
• bibliographies and thematic collections,
• materials about the region

Services:

• providing library information, factual and bibliographic,
• offering of reference library and library indexes.

Cultural and educational activities:

Employees of Bibliographical and Information Department organize:

• occasional exhibitions,
• meetings with authors,
• lectures,
• lessons at the library for teenagers.
